First Baptist Church Pasadena is an American Baptist church, founded in 1883 by 13 members. The sanctuary at our current location opened in 1925, and has a seating capacity of 1,700 people. We minister to people of all age groups and ethnic backgrounds. Please come join our diverse congregation and worship the living God with us.

 

Our vision is to see FBCP in the heart of the community with the - sanctuary filled with worshipers - building filled for God's purposes - community filled with transformed lives - world filled with disciples who share Christ's love. 

 

 

Worship celebration services are held Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. Child care and parking are provided. 

The parking structure gate is usually open on Sunday mornings, and if it is not, simply pull a ticket from the machine, and we will validate it for you. Please feel free to come as you are, whether dressed casually or formally. 

Our services combine traditional hymns and contemporary worship music with prayer and a message from the Bible. On the first Sunday of each month, we proclaim the sacrifice of Jesus for us by receiving Communion. We cordially invite you to worship with us or to find out more about a relationship with Jesus Christ. You may schedule an appointment to speak with any member of our ministry staff if you need counsel or have specific questions. We are also available after the service to pray or talk with you.
